We aim to engage everyone to build a community around Tiverton which :

All our projects are community and volunteer based – we are ordinary people sharing our skills and time, so that together we can change the world around us!
Food
- Beekeeping and pollinator awareness
- Sustainable food growing and wildlife friendly gardening.
- Community apple juicing
- Collection, use and re-distribution of surplus food
Share and Repair
- Repairing household goods
- Shared community stores of household goods and bikes to borrow
- Skills sharing in repairing and adapting goods
- Events to pass goods on for re-use
Nature and Biodiversity
- Taking practical action to restore nature
- Tree - planting and maintenance in rural areas and towns
- Monitoring our environment and combatting pollution of the River Exe.
Community Engagement
- Encouraging visions of a carbon net zero community in our area
- Presenting practical solutions through our travelling exhibition, drop-ins, discussions and outdoor events
- Harnessing ideas and energy of community members so that together we can make a difference!
Energy and Transport
- Making lower emission transport options available
- Finding affordable ways for people to reduce home energy use
- Contributing to the Tiverton Neighbourhood Plan
